My name is Lois Ward, the owner and artistic director of goodlines, and I live in London, Ontario. I help my clients create sanctuaries of beauty and health in their homes and work places.

Using earth-friendly practices when decorating your home or office, I’ll recommend a new purpose or location for furniture and art that you already own. And I’ll guide you in the selection of new, earth-friendly décor.

Colour Consultation

● I work with a Benjamin Moore colour deck and recommend their Aura Low VOC paints;

● While in your home, I learn about your colour preferences by discussing the colours of your cherished items, and referring to a colour deck and photos that demonstrate a variety of colour schemes;

● You will receive one colour palette for walls and décor, with dominant and secondary colours and 2 – 3 accents.

Interior Decorating Consultation

● I’ll view the space to be decorated, take measurements and photos, ask about your lifestyle and the intended use of the room, learn your decorating taste using photo examples, conduct a colour consultation and discuss the budget;

● You will receive hand-written decorating recommendations at the time of the consultation, with suggestions for placement of current furniture and art, ideas for earth-friendly new décor that fits your budget plus a personalized Benjamin Moore colour palette.

Decorating Plan

● This package includes a 2 hour interior decorating consultation;

● After the consultation you will receive a type-written plan, a colour palette, suggestions for placement of current furniture and art, and earth- friendly recommendations for the purchase of new décor;

● I will also create a floor plan and drawing of how the room might look upon completion and a list of possible new furniture and accents with images, retail information and prices;

● The contact information of reliable local contractors is included if the project requires painting, flooring, window coverings, or minor renovations;

● You can follow the plan step-by-step to complete the project yourself.

Shopping and Project Coordination

● I can carry out any part of the plan, such as shopping for paint, furniture or accent pieces, or coordinating contractors.

● You will receive a written estimate prior to beginning work.

Preparing Your House to Sell

● You will receive my “Preparing Your House to Sell” booklet;

● We will discuss your target market;

● You will receive a hand-written report with priorities for your property, recommendations for using many of the furnishings you have in your house, and earth-friendly options for new or rented décor.

Pre-Move Support

● You need to prepare your own or your mom and dad’s house for market at the same time as shuttling the kids to and from sports, working full time and helping a parent with yard work and errands;

● If you are overwhelmed with everything that needs to be done, I will take care of the details by coordinating my network of professionals to clean, de-clutter, pack and store items to go to your new home, do small repairs, minor renovations, and paint;

● A written estimate will be provided prior to commencing work.

Downsizing to a 2 Bedroom Apartment, Condo or House

● You are moving to a much smaller home and are at a loss as to what furniture and possessions to keep;

● I will come to your home to determine what current furnishings will fit and look great in your new home, and what new items might be needed;

● I will need from you a floor plan of your new home;

● You will receive a drawing of your new layout to help you attractively and efficiently place both the possessions you are keeping and your new décor.
